Facebook and Instagram ads management for UK businesses
£1,839 a month plus ad spend, as part of Ads
Updated
Padon manages Facebook and Instagram ads for UK businesses in any sector, as part of our Ads package at £1,839 a month plus ad spend. Your Meta ads are looked after every week within a budget we agree, and you get a report every week.
What Meta ads management includes
The work starts with a look at your ad account, analytics and website, and fixing what’s broken. After that, your campaigns are looked after every week and you get a weekly report. The Ads package also covers Google Ads management, looked after the same way.
We only publish facts you have confirmed on a fact sheet about your business. We never invent figures, reviews or testimonials.
How Facebook and Instagram ads are tracked
Facebook and Instagram ads are measured through two Meta tools. The Meta Pixel is a snippet of code on your website that tracks visitor activity, so you can measure how well your ads work and build audiences from people who visited. The Conversions API connects your marketing data to Meta from your server, website platform, app or CRM. Checking these is part of the first look at your ad account, analytics and website.
If ad clicks arrive but enquiries don’t, the website is worth checking too. Our note on why a website isn’t getting enquiries walks through testing the form, the phone link and enquiry tracking.
Where Facebook and Instagram ads appear
Meta can place ads in Facebook and Instagram feeds, Stories and Reels, as well as Messenger, Threads and the Audience Network. If placements are left open, Meta considers all its default positions, and it may add new ones as they become available.
How much Facebook and Instagram ads management costs
Facebook and Instagram ads management comes in the Ads package, which covers Google Ads and Meta ads for £1,839 a month plus ad spend, with a one-off setup fee that we quote before you start. After that it runs a month at a time with 30 days’ notice. If you also want search engine optimisation and your website looked after, Everything costs £2,986 a month plus ad spend, which is less than the packages bought apart.
Ad spend is separate from our fee. You pay it straight to Meta from your own ad account, and we never hold it.
Meta announced a UK location fee in March 2026, separate from our fee. Reuters reported on 10 March 2026 that Meta would charge advertisers 2% from 1 July 2026 for ads reaching audiences in the UK, to cover digital service taxes. The fee is set by where the audience is, whatever country the advertiser is based in.
How Meta ads management works week to week
At the start we agree two things with you: the monthly cap on ad spend, and what a good week looks like. For a café that might be bookings for a new evening menu. For an online shop it might be sales at a cost you can live with.
Every week after that we read what people clicked and what it cost. Ads that bring enquiries or sales stay, and the ones that cost money without results are stopped. Then the weekly report goes out.
What we need from you to run Meta ads
- Access to your Meta ad account, analytics and website, given through each platform’s own user tools, so nobody shares a password. Meta’s version is its option to give a partner access to business assets in your business portfolio.
- Your own Meta ad account.
- Your confirmation of the fact sheet before we start.
- Your approval of the monthly cap on ad spend.
Who Facebook and Instagram ads suit
Meta ads appear in places such as feeds, Stories and Reels, so they suit businesses that can show what they offer in a picture or a short video. Some examples of what UK businesses might run:
- A café in Brighton announcing a new brunch menu to people nearby.
- An online shop shipping across the UK, showing ads to people who visited a product page and left.
- A dental practice in Cardiff promoting whitening or Invisalign consultations.
- A plumber covering Leicester advertising boiler servicing before winter.
- A solicitor in Manchester offering fixed-fee wills.
- An estate agent in Bristol advertising new lettings or asking for valuation requests.
Meta’s rules for housing, job and financial ads
Meta requires advertisers reaching Canada or Europe with housing, employment or credit ads to declare a special ad category. In the US the same applies to housing, employment and all financial products and services ads, a category that replaced credit in January 2025. Meta’s developer documentation refers to “Europe” without naming the UK, so it’s worth checking in Ads Manager whether a UK campaign is covered. These ads can’t be targeted by gender, ZIP code (postal code) targeting isn’t supported, location targeting must take in at least a 15 km radius in Europe, and lookalike audiences aren’t available. The age range is generally fixed at 18 to 65 and over, though credit ads in Europe can use a different range. Where these rules apply, a lettings ad can’t be aimed at a single postcode, so an estate agent’s plan has to work with a wider area from the start.
What results to expect from Meta ads, and when
Meta ad sets go through a learning period before delivery stabilises. Meta’s Business Help Centre says an ad set usually leaves the learning phase after about 50 results in the week after its last significant edit, and that significant edits start it again.
Meta’s 50-event figure is high for a small business. A solicitor getting five enquiries a week from Facebook gets a tenth of that in seven days, below the level at which Meta says learning stabilises. For low-volume goals like that, the early weeks are best read as a trend, and each weekly report shows what the week cost.

Questions
How much does Facebook and Instagram ads management cost?
Our Meta ads management is part of the Ads package at £1,839 a month plus ad spend, and the same package covers Google Ads. There is a one-off setup fee, quoted before you start, and then it runs a month at a time with 30 days' notice. Search and Ads together, with the website looked after, cost £2,986 a month plus ad spend.
Who pays Meta for the ads?
You do. Ad spend goes straight to Meta from your own ad account, within a monthly cap you approve, and we never hold the money. Reuters reported in March 2026 that Meta would also charge a 2% location fee from 1 July 2026 for ads reaching UK audiences, set by where the audience is, whatever country your business is based in.
Do I need to give an agency my Facebook login?
No. Meta has its own way to give a partner access to business assets in your business portfolio, and we work through each platform's own user tools, so nobody shares passwords. Your ad account stays your own, paid by you directly to Meta, and access can be given at the start without any password changing hands.
What is the learning phase on Facebook ads?
It's the period while Meta's delivery system learns who to show an ad set to, when results are less stable. Meta's Business Help Centre says an ad set usually leaves it after about 50 results in the week after its last significant edit, and that significant edits, such as a large budget change, start it again.
Are there special rules for estate agents, recruiters and financial firms?
Yes, in some regions. Meta requires housing, employment and credit ads reaching Canada or Europe, and housing, employment and financial products ads reaching the US, to be declared as a special ad category. Those ads lose some targeting: no choice of gender, no ZIP code (postal code) targeting, a minimum 15 km radius in Europe, and no lookalike audiences. Meta's documentation doesn't name the UK, so check in Ads Manager.
